Lda To Relaunch Lohia Enclave Scheme In Para, Real Estate News, ET RealEstate

LUCKNOW: Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) is set to replace its existing Lohia Enclave scheme in Devpur Para with a fresh residential initiative. This new scheme will also involve the construction of flats on the site. Once the flats are built, a new registration process will be initiated.

Unlike the previous lottery system, old allottees will be directly allocated flats based on priority. LDA had originally launched the initiative under the name ‘Samajwadi Lohia Enclave’ during 2015-16. The project had involved issuing tenders for over 3,000 flats. However, even before construction began, officials had already allocated the houses.

The private company, which was given the responsibility of construction, could not even build these houses. It was blacklisted in 2018 by the then LDA vice chairman, PN Singh. Many times, the LDA issued tenders for the construction of these houses, but no company was selected.

LDA VC Indramani Tripathi said, “Considering the situation, the scheme was cancelled after discussions in the board meeting. Now, a new scheme will be introduced.”
