“There has been a huge gap in the office interior industry. There are companies who does interior for large corporates but a businessman from small town has the same ambition. We are providing them the same quality of service through our platform,” Mittal said.

The startup is a platform for designers, architects, contractors, office furniture, and material suppliers and help in commercial interiors, starting from small office projects to large office set up.

“The sector is unorganized, and we believe a tech-led approach can help deliver good experience to workspace owners. On our platform, anyone wanting to redevelop the office can come and get thousands of options to select from,“ Mittal said.

OfficeBanao is present in more than 15 cities across the country and is focused on enabling small business owners and start-ups for aesthetic workspaces. In metro cities, it is servicing large customers, MSME and startup’s and also helping small companies to build office.

“There is a aspirational class in tier 2, tier 3 cities of the country and as India is growing, the business men in smaller cities is also growing. They want the office to be world class and OfficeBanao is reaching to them and fulfilling the requirement in a professional manner,” said Mittal.

Over the next few months, the start-up will also focus on expanding presence in top 25 markets.

OfficeBanao transforms the interior design lifecycle of a workspace, with its user-friendly and transparent processes, enabled by a technology led experience.

Designs that would previously take three weeks, can now be done in a day with an interactive visual design process, and linked visibility of costs and budgets make the journey seamless for customers and service providers alike.

“I had discovered OfficeBanao on Instagram and it was a game-changer for our business’s office needs.?From a wide range of designs to cost-effective options, they made our decision-making so effortless. Their standardized rates, meticulous process, and tech-driven approach assured reliability and exceeded our expectations,” said Anant Tanted, founder and ceo at The Indian Garage company.

Before starting Officebanao, Tushar had twelve years of experience. He built Studiokon Ventures (SKV) in Gurugram in 2009 and achieved a revenue of Rs 250 crore in ten years without external funding.

However he found challenges in scaling it as there was no technology to support the business. He identified the gap and started OfficeBanao with the help of co-founders Akshay and Divyanshu.

He aims to make it the number one company in office interior which is a $40 billion industry.

The company is also empowering architects, contractors and suppliers with technology to scale at every level. It is planning to add 1000 partners across the country in next 5 years to build a Rs 10,000 crore business.
