Nine Plots Seized For Not Paying Tax Dues, Real Estate News, ET RealEstate
INDORE: Tightening noose around defaulters, Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) on Thursday launched a drive and seized as many as nine plots on the owners failing to clear due property tax in the given time limit.
Following instructions of IMC commissioner Harshika Singh and additional commissioner Abhilash Mishra, a team led by zone 13 assistance revenue officer Vaibhav Dangi seized as many as nine plots of the ‘defaulters’ as the owners had more than Rs 40,000/each due as property tax.
After seizing the properties, IMC team erected banners/posters at the spot, informing the public about the action and alerting them not to make any deal of the plots without obtaining no-objection-certificate from civic body.
