NEW DELHI: To make construction workers in the city aware of the schemes being run by the Delhi government, a ‘mega registration and awareness camp’ will be launched.
Labour minister Raaj Kumar Anand gave the direction during a review meeting on Thursday with higher officials of the Delhi Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.
The camps will be organised for construction workers in the offices of the labour department in all 11 districts of Delhi.
A statement said that a monthly magazine will be distributed to labourers from next month, which will include information about all schemes relevant to them.
The minister instructed officials to conduct all the proceedings of the labour court under CCTV surveillance.
