Survey Of Constructions Ordered In Nayagaon, Real Estate News, ET RealEstate
MOHALI: Punjab tourism minister and Kharar MLA Anmol Gagan Maan has ordered a survey of legal and illegal constructions under the Nayagaon municipal limits besides demarcation of land in possession of the MC with immediate effect.
During a review meeting at the MC office, she insisted upon the need to check mushrooming of illegal constructions in the area. She said as the MC area was in close proximity to Chandigarh, planned development was a must there. She asked the officials to be more sensitive towards the grievances of the public.
Maan said that tenders of development work worth Rs 7.25 crore have been allocated and soon, the MC area would have a facelift. Development works worth Rs 7.25 crore more are in the offing, she added.
She also gave a patient hearing to residents, who had approached her with their demands, which she assured of resolving on priority.
