Star Cement’s net profit up 38% in Q1 FY24, Real Estate News, ET RealEstate

NEW DELHI: Star Cement has reported a growth of 38.05 per cent in its net consolidated profit during the quarter ended June 30, 2023. Its profit after tax stood at Rs 93.25 crore in Q1 FY24 as against Rs 67.55 crore it registered in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, the company said in a BSE filing.

The company’s net consolidated total income stood at Rs 769.20 crore in Q1 FY24, a growth of 13.24 per cent from Rs 679.26 crore it recorded in the similar quarter last year.

The board of directors re-appointed following managing director(s) and executive director for a further period of three years effective from April 1, 2024 upto March 31, 2027: Sajjan Bhajanka as chairman & managing director, Rajendra Chamaria as managing director, Sanjay Agarwal as managing director, Prem Kumar Bhajanka as managing director and Pankaj Kejriwal as executive director.

The board also appointed Tushar Bhajanka as an additional director of the dompany with immediate effect.
