NEW DELHI: Mumbai-based Lafit Lighting is expecting over 40 per cent growth in the financial year 2019-20 betting majorly on the replacement market.

Dispal Sakira, managing director of the company said,”We have been very aggressive in the last one year. We have introduced many new products. Our growth has been more than 40% and even this year we expect the same.”

According to him the quality of most of the LED products in the market is not up to the mark and those seeking replacement and quality products come to them.

The company claims to have introduced LED products since 2005. “Since we have been in business for more than 10 years, a lot of customers and architects are aware of our brand. Hence we get a lot of repetitive business,” said Sakira.

Currently, the company is focusing a lot in residential, commercial, retail lighting segments. “We focus a lot on Tier-I and Tier-II cities and we also get a big replacement market,” said Sakira.

Almost 80% of the company’s products are manufactured in India while the rest is imported. But Sakira says that they will produce more in India. “As we see good potential, we have been increasing our factory size and we will continue to do so,” he added.
