Kda To Cancel Bldng Maps Sanctioned On Fake Site Plans, Real Estate News, ET RealEstate
KANPUR: District magistrate Vishak G Iyer, who is also vice-chairman of Kanpur Development Authority (KDA) on Sunday directed the officials to cancel the building maps which are being sanctioned on the basis of fabricated site plans in Singhpur Kachhar and other areas.
Taking cognizance of a complaint dated June 30 in this regard made by the Pioneer Green City Owners Welfare Association, Singhpur Kachhar and Hanumant Vihar, the vice-chairman had ordered an investigation which was conducted by the senior officials.
After investigation, it came to fore that the allegation of approving building plans on the basis of forged and fabricated forms and amended site plan on the basis of incomplete facts were true.
In another direction, he also asked to cancel the approved amended site plan under section 15 (9) of UP Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973.
In compliance with the vice-chairman’s order, the KDA lodged an FIR under section 420/467/468/471 of IPC against the authorized directors of M/s Pioneer Contrawild (LLP) Akhil Sharma and Nikhil Sharma, Amit Agarwal, Ashish Singh and architect Vaibhav Chauhan.
According to law officer/PRO of KDA SB Rai, the builder had raised plots on a 9 metres road depicted on the site plan of plot no. 2, 37 and 48 on the basis of amended site plan which was approved on forged and fabricated description.
Since the directors were prima facie found guilty, an FIR was lodged against them.
