Ida To De-notify Some Plots To Legalise Private Colonies, Real Estate News, ET RealEstate

INDORE: Indore Development Authority (IDA) board on Thursday decided to de-notify some lands that were part of its schemes to help legalization of private colonies developed on it.

The board’s meeting led by the chairman Jaypal Singh Chawda, collector Ilayaraja T, IMC commissioner Harshika Singh and IDA CEO RP Ahirwar among other members on Thursday held discussion over a dozen proposals.

“The board has given its permission for denotification of some lands of Sirpur Gram, which were part of Scheme 126 and Scheme 156, lands of Pipliyarao village, which were part of Scheme 127, along with that of Sukhliya, Chhota Bangadada, Gadarakhedi and Sirpur, which were part of Scheme 161” the chairman said.

He added that permissions have also been granted for denotification of some lands of IDA’s schemes including 47-A, 53, 56-62, 72, 73, 77, 94 (Narmada Nagar), Scheme 95, 97 and Scheme 123, 170 along with sending all these proposals for the state government’s approval.

“The decisions will help in legalization of colonies including Shristi Palace, Shrinath Vihar, Shrinath State, Rishi Nagar A and B, Pushp Nagar, Roshan Bagh, Kamla Keshar Nagar, New Sundar Nagar, Kailash Bagh, New Kaveri Nagar, Kaveri Nagar, Asha Palace, Suvidhi Nagar, Lake Palace, Panchvati Nagar, Sahu Nagar, Devendra Nagar and Nema Nagar that had come on these lands over the course of time” he said.

Other decisions taken in the board’s meeting include reserving land to set up Women Entrepreneurship Centres at three places, developing a building to provide stay to the patients and their attendants in MY Hospital costing around Rs 5 crore, carrying out restoration and other works in the government cancer hospital’s basement costing Rs 85 lakh, approving a lowest bid of Rs 146.98 crore to develop a label-2 flyover on Indore-Ujjain highway at Luvkush Square.

“Besides, the board also approved the terms and conditions to allot an international swimming pool, which has almost completed, to a private firm, while an administrative approval has been given to install a statue of Samrat Prithviraj Chouhan costing Rs 30 lakh at Niranjanpur Square,” he said, adding that the board has also decided to send a proposal to increase width of Gangwal Bus Stand road from presently 30 meter to 45 meter to pave a way for construction of a six-lane flyover at Mhownaka Square.
