Havells India’s lighting segment profit before tax dips 8% in Q2 FY20, ET RealEstate

NEW DELHI: The lighting and fixture segment of Havells India reported a dip of 8 per cent in its profit before tax (PBT) in the second quarter of financial year 2019-20, the company said in a BSE filing on Wednesday. Its PBT stood at Rs 77.54 crore as against Rs 84.67 crore it reported in Q2 FY19.

Revenue from the segment was Rs 280 crore in Q2 FY20 as against Rs 286 crore in the corresponding quarter previous year.

The company’s overall net profit was Rs 181 crore in Q2 FY20 as against Rs 179 crore in Q2 FY19, a growth of 2 per cent.

Its net revenue for Jul-September 2019 quarter grew by 6 per cent to Rs 2,050 crore as against Rs 1,933 crore it recorded in Q2 FY19.
