The rapid change has specific implications for commercial buildings. High-energy consumers in a commercial building account for 40% of the total energy consumption. These high-energy consumers are Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC), and Water Systems.

These consume 17% of total electricity worldwide and are responsible for 8% of worldwide greenhouse emissions. The energy sector is the largest greenhouse gas emitter contributing to climate change. These pumps are the most efficient circulator pumps available on the market today. The Energy Efficiency Index (EEI) is well below the EuP benchmark level, ensuring energy savings up to 75%. The pumps can be integrated with building management system (BMS) and is conveniently operated via Bluetooth. They are easy to install, commission, and maintain. In addition to Magna circulator pumps, the range by Grundfos also showcases in-line pumping technology – ‘the TP, TPE, TPE – Series 1000,’ and more.

Also, we manufacture pumps for water-boosting applications – the Hydro MPC-E and the Hydro Multi-E pumps. These pumps are fitted with IE5 range of motors. They control pressure intelligently while monitoring the system, analysing performance, and securing efficient operations.

Traditionally, pumping system design was for peak load situations. Here, it is important to note that peak load occurs less than 3% of a building’s lifetime.
