Faering Capital invests $30 million in Vastu Housing Finance, Real Estate News, ET RealEstate
NEW DELHI: Faering Capital has invested $30 million in Vastu Housing Finance Corporation (Vastu). The transaction is a secondary sale by funds managed by Multiples Alternate Asset Management, private equity platform, and other shareholders of the company.
Vastu, an affordable housing finance company, has assets under management (AUM) of US$900 million and has presence in 15 states across India. The company reported profit after tax of over Rs 285 crore in FY23.
Founded by Aditya Parekh and Sameer Shroff, Faering Capital is a private equity firm, which has raised over USD 720 million of capital across three funds and has partnered with 29 companies. This is company’s third investment from its $346 million Fund 3 which had a final close in November 2022.
