Century Plyboards’ net profit dips 5.94% in Q1 FY24, Real Estate News, ET RealEstate

NEW DELHI: Century Plyboards (India) has reported a dip of 5.94 per cent in its net consolidated profit during the quarter ended June 30, 2023. Its profit after tax stood at Rs 87.12 crore in Q1 FY24 as against Rs 92.62 crore it registered in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, the company said in a BSE filing.

The company’s net consolidated total income stood at Rs 903.15 crore, a growth of 0.94 per cent from Rs 894.78 crore it recorded in the similar quarter last year.

The board of directors approved re-appointment of Amit Kiran Deb as an independent director, not liable to retire by rotation, for a further period of five years with effect from October 1, 2023.

The board also approved the acquisition of entire stake in Pacific Plywoods (PPPL) from existing shareholders, so as to make it a wholly owned subsidiary.
