NASHIK: A delegation of builders’ associations, like the Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Association of India (Credai) Nashik and National Real Estate Development Council (Naredco) Nashik, met the acting commissioner of Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) Bhagyashree Banayat on Wednesday to press for their demands.

They urged the civic chief to reduce the stages in the process of approving building plan proposals from seven to three.

They also wanted the condition of the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority’s No objection certificate while approving the layout of the land to be abolished.

The delegation included Credai Nashik president Krunal Patil, former president Ravi Mahajan, Naredco Nashik president Abhay Tated and others.

They also demanded permission to dig roads for water and drainage connections for the athorised buildings. The civic administration has banned the digging of roads during monsoon. The civic chief assured of taking positive decisions.
