LUCKNOW: From waterlogging in the basement to elevator malfunctions and from seepage in toilets to drainage issues, a number of problems were highlighted by residents of Srishti Apartment, Janikipuram extension, during an inspection by a team from the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA), led by chief engineer A K Singh.

Apartment resident Ravi Verma complained that one of the lifts had been out of service for a week, causing significant problems, especially for individuals with health ailments. Residents of A and G Blocks of Srishti Apartments too expressed concerns about seepage problem in bathrooms.

“Some individuals have created holes in various places in the first-floor basement, resulting in water accumulation and weakening the building’s foundation,” said Vivek Sharma, another resident of the apartment.

The LDA chief engineer instructed officials to resolve the issues promptly.
