Jmc-h Attaches 35 Properties Over Ud Tax, Real Estate News, ET RealEstate
JAIPUR: JMC Heritage administration on Wednesday attached 35 properties where payment of urban development tax was pending.
JMC-Heritage commissioner Abhishek Surana said, “A total of 35 property holders in JMC Heritage area had outstanding urban development tax amount of Rs 84.64 lakh. Despite repeated notices, no information was given to the zone offices by the property holders. Due to which the revenue branch took action against the property holders and attached 35 properties.”
After the properties were attached, some property holders paid the tax amounting to Rs 15.52 lakh. Surana appealed to all property holders to pay their UD tax on time to avoid action by the municipal corporation.
