Dalmia Bharat invests Rs 204 crore to add one million tons cement capacity in Tamil Nadu, ET RealEstate
NEW DELHI: Dalmia Bharat (DBL), a cement manufacturer, has installed a new cement mill at its existing cement manufacturing unit in Ariyalur, Tamil Nadu with an investment of Rs 204 crore.
This new unit adds one million tons of cement capacity to the company’s overall installed capacity, bringing it to a total of 45.6 million tons including its subsidiaries.
This brownfield expansion is aimed at strengthening its market presence in the South and meeting the demand for cement in the region and aligns with the company’s aim to increase its total installed capacity to 110 -130 MT by 2031.
Dalmia Bharat currently runs two integrated cement manufacturing plants situated at Tamil Nadu’s Dalmiapuram and Ariyalur respectively, along with a grinding unit located in Sattur.
